Max and the No Good, Rotten, Worst Birthday Party of All Time

How the perfect birthday party went all wrong!

This is Max's introduction. He's been invited to his best friend's birthday party and it's all he can think about—the cake, balloons, games, presents! Max arrives at the party and things turn bad almost immediately! For ages 3-8.

Max was playing with his toys.

He heard a knock at the door. His mom walked in.

“Guess what, Max? You’re invited to Josh’s birthday party next weekend!” Max was super, duper excited. Josh was his best friend.

It's fun to get super excited.

Max anticipated the birthday party every day. He thought about all the exciting things he'd do, and he knew they would be perfect.

It turns out that life doesn't always go the way we plan.

This book was designed to be a fun, easy story that your kids will want to read over and over. It's funny and exciting, and filled with background gags, so you'll see something new every time you read it.

And this book has another use. You can use it to help your kids learn to deal with strong emotions. They'll see Max get super excited, then disappointed, then angry, then happy again. They'll learn how a different perspective can change a disaster into a triumph.

Thousands of children have heard this story. They always laugh. They always enjoy it. And I frequently hear that this story is their favorite. That's why I'm confident you'll love it, too.
